During the sake of production, the liquid extracted from the unrefined sake is used as a well-known alcoholic beverage. The remaining residue becomes the sakekasu (sake-lees).The Sakekasu contains nutrients left over from the yeast, including carbohydrates, protein, fiber, vitamin B, and more.
The nutrients in Sakekasu make it an incredible health food and a natural skincare ingredient. In Japan, Sakekasu is used for daily dishes such as Kasujiru (Sakekasu soup), pickles & desserts. Another great use is in beauty treatment.
BENEFITS OF SAKE-KASU
Sake has been used as an excellent skin toner for centuries in Japan. It contains plenty of saccharides & amino acids that are used as cosmetic materials.
Drinking Sakekasu as a hot drink (mix 2 teaspoons of Sakekasu w/hot water, add a small slice of ginger & honey or maple syrup) may prevent allergies to pollen, food & house dust mites.

HOW TO USE
For a relaxing sakekasu bath, sprinkle 1-2 packs (10g each silver package) into a full bathtub, stir thoroughly, and enjoy a soothing soak. To make a calming sakekasu facemask, mix 1 tbsp of sakekasu with 2 tbsp of water (1:2 ratio) to form a paste. Apply gently to the face, avoiding the eye area, and leave on for 5-7 minutes, then rinse well with lukewarm water.
