Feels Great on the Skin + Safe for Our Planet
◉ Third-party certification organizations verify that organic producers use only methods and materials allowed in organic production. Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
◉ In addition, federal regulations prohibit the use of genetically engineered seed for organic farming. All cotton sold as organic in the United States must meet strict federal regulations covering how the cotton is grown. This is an ecologically safe fiber that is gentle on our environment and the planet, also for consumers and manufacturers, moving forward into a brighter & safer future.
◉ Organic cotton that chidoriya uses for our lingerie is USDA certified organic cotton from a provider in Texas. They provide one of the best quality organic fabric in the industry. Milling and finishing takes place in North Carolina.
◉ In the U.S. there are about 16 major cotton growing states that produce upland cotton. All of these states form a region in the United States known as the Cotton Belt and have three things in common, lots of sunshine, water and fertile soil, very important to growing a good cotton crop. Current major crops are: (1)Texas, (2)Mississippi and (3)California.
